Sheetal Jain joined SSCU at IISc in June 2021 as an Assistant Professor. He did his masters from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune. Sheetal completed his Ph.D. from Aarhus University, Denmark in the group of Prof. Niels Christian Nielsen in 2014. After that, he moved to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Robert G. Griffin's Group. Before joining IISc, he worked at the University of California Santa Barbara as a Postdoc in Prof. Songi Han’s group.
